Beneath the chlamys, the breastplate forms a triangle covering the shoulders to the waist. to the waist; the left hand, raised to ear level, holds a long spear, the tip of which is resting on the ground, while the right hand brandishes a sword. The left hand, raised to the height of the ears, holds a long spear whose tip is resting on the ground, while the right hand brandishes the round shield behind which the sword is raised, in a ceremonial position, not one of combat.
